Registration dates.

 

We trust everyone has heard that registration is now open. Just to summarize the procedure:

 

  • Registration is done by team leaders.
  • First registration deadline is July 20.
  • Based on registrations and information received by this date, a decision will be made if it’s necessary to extend the event with 1 extra day to accommodate the number of participants. Countries who don’t have their selection procedure concluded by this date are strongly encouraged to get in touch with the organization and share a prediction about the number of combinations they intend/expect to register
    • Decision about extending the program or not will be made on July the 21st and communicated shortly after
    • Final registration deadline is August 24th. Number of starts will be limited to whatever was decided on July 21st, no matter how many registrations are received after that date.
  • We realize it’s a bit more complex than the normal procedure for FMBB disciplines. If all countries with an active TS herding community send the maximum allowed number of dogs, the capacity of the event won’t be enough to accommodate everyone. In this scenario it’s possible to add 1 extra day to the event, allowing for 10 extra places. In order to give both the organization and participants enough time to adjust their plans, we need to have this 2-phase system.
  • We rely on all clubs to provide us their registrations or best estimate of participant numbers per class before July 20th. Thanks for working with us to make it happen!
